Camping at Butano State Park

We went camping for 2 nights at Butano State Park. Just 45 minutes North of Santa Cruz, near Pescadero. We had fun, but it was a lot of work. We say lots of Bananna Slugs.

Gavin Turns 2!

Can't believe Gavin is two! We had a fun time at his birthday party.

We had a great trip to see Grandma and Grandpa and a 2 days at Disneyland with Ken, Sharon, Kasey, Kendyll and Kolby. Then Rob and I went to my 10 year (really 20) high school reunion. Had a really fun time.

Isabella had her first soccer game this past Saturday. She had lots of fun and did great! We are so proud. Here she is with her team. The photo below shows Bella's weapons...

Cabo Trip August 2008

We just got back from Cabo San Lucas. We went with good friends Justin and Cindy and our Godchildren Katelyn and Dylan. Had a great time. Very hot, but spent lots of time in the pool.

Grandma & Grandpa 45th Wedding Anniversary

We went to visit Grandma and Grandpa to celebrate thier 45th wedding anniversary! We went to dinner in Brea and met family Gerard, Chrissy, Reagan and Taylor Cloutier, Armand and Mary, and Uncle and Jennie. We had lots of champagne on hand back at the house. Happy 45th!

Napa June 2008

We went to Napa to visit Aunt Linda, my cousins Steve and Marne and kids Kira and Brandon. Had such a great time. Rob had a race in dowtown Napa...it was HOT! 85 degrees at 9am. We had fun in the baby pool and drinking some wine! Thanks for the wine Steve!

The beginning of the blog

This is the story,of the Abundis Family, who was bringing up 2 very lovely kids. All of them had hair of gold, like thier mother, the oldest one in curls.

It is summer 2008, yippeee! The weather is unusually sunny and warm for Santa Cruz in June. We're playing in the pool and slip-n-slide in the evenings and weekends.

Looking forward to visiting Grandama and Grandpa at the end of June to celebrate thier 45 wedding anniversary, then the Aptos 4th of July parade, and on to Cabo San Lucas with the Bettendorks to celebrate our 10 year wedding anniversay. (Boy did that make me feel old).

We're looking into swimming lessons for Gavin and Bella and then Bella starts soccer in September. Let the games begin! Practice once a week after work/school and then games every Saturday. Can't wait!
